• (Ottawa, ON) – C4i Consultants Exhibiting at CANSEC

  C4i Consultants will be exhibiting at the CANSEC Show (https://www.defenceandsecurity.ca/) in Ottawa at Lansdowne Park 2-3 June 2010. C4i Consultants will be highlighting the Emergency and Disaster Management SIMulation (EDMSIM) product for Domestic Operations training for the Canadian Forces as well as a Low Cost/Low Overhead us of MILSIM to conduct fully stimulated C2 system training using a single laptop. Live demonstrations of these capabilities will be conducted at Booth 2412 during exhibition hours. C4i Consultants’ products are used by the US Army, NATO and other countries around the world to conduct successful and effective training.
• (Vyskov, Czech Republic) – NATO Exercise with EDMSIM

  C4i Consultants will be assisting NATO’s Chemical, Biological Radiological, and Nuclear Events (CBRNE) Center of Excellence in conducting a capstone capability exercise in the Czech Republic this month. The exercise will use C4i Consultants’ Emergency and Disaster Management SIMulation (EDMSIM) to create realistic CBRNE events to which NATO would be respond with command and control and soldiers on the ground. The exercise takes place 24-28 May at the NATO CBRNE Center of Excellence in Vyskov, Czech Republic.
• C4i Consultants Exhibiting at ITEC Exhibition

  C4i Consultants’ EDMSIM and MILSIM products will be shown at the SMART Technologies Booth (http://smarttech.com/) number H133 at the ITEC show 18-20 May in London, England. ITEC is Europe’s largest and most established Defense Simulation and Training show and C4i Consultants will be showcasing versions of Emergency and Disaster Management SIMulation (EDMSIM) and Military Simulation (MILSIM) fully integrated with SMART Technologies’ display products.

  In its 6th annual survey and ranking of Canada’s most successful defense companies by Canadian Defence Review, C4i Consultants was ranked within the Top 40 for the second year in a row. • (Edmonton, AB) – C4i Consultants Awarded Government of Alberta Standing Offer

  The Government of Alberta today awarded C4i Consultants a Standing Offer Contract for Information Technology and Professional Resources. The purpose of this contract is to allow C4i Consultants to remain responsive to and support the Alberta Government’s ongoing efforts in Emergency Management and Public Safety Training. The contract is a one year in duration and will allow the Government of Alberta to procure technical services and support from C4i Consultants on an as-needed basis.
• (Washington, DC) – EDMSIM Installed at US National Guard Bureau

  C4i Consultants’ sister company, Applied Training Solutions (www.appliedtrg.com) today installed Emergency and Disaster Management SIMulation (EDMSIM) at the United States National Guard Bureau (http://www.ng.mil/default.aspx) for Operational Research and Strategic Analysis purposes. The National Guard Bureau intends to use EDMSIM to evaluate the Guard’s response to major disasters using the software as an analysis tool in order to validate existing plans and modify them accordingly.
• (Edmonton, AB) – EDMSIM used at Government of Alberta Symposium

  C4i Consultants Emergency and Disaster Management SIMulation (EDMSIM) was used at a one-day Government of Alberta Emergency Partners Symposium, which was hosted by Alberta Emergency Management Agency. EDMSIM was used to visually demonstrate a variety of emergency scenarios for groups at the symposium and this lead to a tabletop discussion in each of the groups. This more realistic approach helped focus the discussion and resulted in better discussion for the attendees.
• (Taji, Iraq) – MILSIM Trains Iraqi Army Prior to Election

  The Counter Insurgency School ran a series of exercises using C4i Consultants’ Military Simulation (MILSIM) to run senior Iraqi Army officers through a number of complex and challenging “worst case” events in preparation for upcoming elections. MILSIM presented scenarios ranging from bridge bombings and sabotaged electricity grids to mass casualties at voting stations and the officers practiced coordination, information sharing and the actual conduct of their response using the simulation. The two day event was witnessed by the top American and Iraqi military leadership.
• (Vyskov, Czech Republic) – EDMSIM adopted by NATO Center of Excellence

  NATO has adopted C4i Consultants’ Emergency and Disaster Management SIMulation (EDMSIM) for use at their Center of Excellence (CoE) in Vyskov, Czech Republic. The CoE is responsible for coordinating NATOs response to Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Events (CBRNE) as well as conducting training on these events during NATO exercises. EDMSIM is a key component of the CoE’s training and exercise capability and will be showcased during several upcoming NATO exercises.
• (Phoenix, AZ) – EDMSIM Deployed to the Arizona Department of Transportation

  C4i Consultants began installation of Emergency and Disaster Management SIMulation (EDMSIM) software at the Arizona Department of Transportation (ADOT – (www.azdot.gov) today. EDMSIM will be used to train emergency operations center staff as well as other first responder agencies in Arizona how to respond to complex and difficult all-hazards situations. ADOT is the second Arizona agency to take delivery of EDMSIM, the first being Arizona Division of Emergency Management (http://www.dem.azdema.gov/).

• (Orlando, FL) – Inter-service/Industry Training Simulation and Education Conference

  C4i Consultants will be exhibiting with Applied Training Solutions in Booth 835 at the Inter-service/Industry Training Simulation and Education Conference (I/ITSEC) in Orlando, Florida. We will be demonstrating our MILSIM simulation system integrated with the US Army’s Command Post of the Future software in order to provide realistic stimulated training of a large command center with a single laptop. Additionally, our Emergency and Disaster Management Simulation will be running recent Chemical/Biological attack scenarios that were used for training the US Army in early November. I/ITSEC is sponsored by the National Training and Simulation Association and attracts approximately 19,000 attendees from 61 countries and is the largest simulation and training conference in the world.
• (Taji, Iraq) – MILSIM Installed at Iraqi Counter Insurgency School

  The US Army awarded a contract to install C4i Consultants’ MILitary SIMulation (MILSIM) software at the Counter Insurgency School at Taji Air Base, just north of Baghdad. The Arabic-language simulation system will be the primary simulation tool for the school and will result in major savings in operating costs compared with other simulation solutions. MILSIM was selected based on its ability to accurately portray contemporary operations within the environment, coupled with its ease of use and simplicity in programming and modifying training scenarios.
• (Indianapolis, IN) – EDMSIM Trains US Army Nuclear Response Teams

  The United States Army Region North is using C4i Consultants’ Emergency and Disaster Management SIMulation (EDMSIM) to help train over 4,000 soldiers as well as their civilian counterparts during EXERCISE VIBRANT RESPONSE in Indiana. The exercise simulated a 10 kiloton nuclear blast in Indianapolis and EDMSIM was operated by Applied Training Solutions (www.appliedtrg.com), C4i Consultants’ sister company in the United States. The simulation was connected to the US Army’s Command and Control Systems and provided realistic information to soldiers training in the field as well as commanders and their staffs at a variety of command posts around the state.
• (Vancouver, BC) – EDMSIM Used During 2010 Winter Olympics Tabletop Exercise

  C4i Consultants’ Emergency and Disaster Management SIMulation (EDMSIM) was used during a tabletop exercise as part of the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics security work-up training. EDMSIM’s GIS-based simulation was used to visually demonstrate multiple hazards within the tabletop scenario to focus and orient the exercise participants to the discussion. EDMSIM was selected due to its ease of use and rapid configuration as well as for its ability to fully simulate nearly any type of serious event or disaster.

  BAE Systems Integrated System Technologies Limited (http://www.baesystems.com/) today signed off final acceptance of C4i Consultants’ MILSIM simulation software for use on a Strategic Command and Control project for a major Middle Eastern country. C4i Consultants was pleased to see the continued adoption of the Arabic-language version of the software in the region. The sign off is the culmination of several months of custom software development designed to improve MILSIM capabilities for use as a test and acceptance tool. MILSIM is capable of realistically stimulating the entire strategic C4ISR system, including multiple command centers, from a single laptop computer.

• (Calgary, AB) Major Middle Eastern Army Awards C4i Consultants Contract for Portable Simulation Centres

  C4i Consultants was today awarded a contract to provide three portable, Arabic-language simulation centers to a major Middle Eastern army. The three simulation centers are being delivered as turn-key solutions later this year and will include hardware, software, training and support. The simulation centers will allow the customer to conduct training with a bare minimum of support personnel in any unit location within the country. The simulation centers will primarily be used for battalion and brigade level training and the entire system is stored and transported in rugged storage cases. At the training location, the system can be easily set up by non-technical personnel and training can commence within an hour.

• (Calgary, AB) – Major Middle Eastern Country Purchases 100 Seat MILSIM Simulation Center

  The US Army Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation today awarded C4i Consultants a contract for an Arabic-language MILSIM Simulation System for installation at an Arms training school for a major Middle Eastern country. The installation will take place in June and will include hardware and software installation, computer networking and training as part of a turn-key program to update the country’s simulation and training capabilities. MILSIM continues to prove the utility of an easy to use simulation translated into the mother tongue of the training audience.

2008

• EDMSIM used by MPRI Inc. at Centers for Disease Control & Prevention

  EDMSIM was employed to conduct another training exercise at the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention.  C4i Consultants continues to work with MPRI to provide exercise support for the CDC pandemic influenza preparedness training.  This exercise represents the first use of the web-based version of EDMSIM and represents a significant leap forward in Emergency Operations Center training. As this is the fourth in a series of CDC training events that have taken place between 2007 and 2008, C4i Consultants is extremely excited that MPRI and the CDC continue to rely on EDMSIM as their primary simulation tool.
• EDMSIM used by ARNORTH in a US Federal Level Exercise

  EDMSIM was successfully employed by Army Region North (ARNORTH) to act as the exercise driver for a Federal Level exercise taking place at Ft Stewart GA.  C4i Consultants is pleased that EDMSIM was selected for such a high-level event and it illustrates the simulation’s ability to conduct training at the Local, State and Federal levels.

• C4i Consultants Completes MILSIM AI and Behavior Scripting Model for Ft Leavenworth

  C4i Consultants completed development of the MILSIM performance and Semi-Autonomous Forces features requested by the US Army’s Command and General Staff College at Ft Leavenworth.  The successful implementation of these features will greatly improve the Command and General Staff College ability to deliver training in the classroom and enhance MILSIM’s interface to the Army’s C2 systems.
• C4i Consultants to Conduct Fourth EDMSIM Pandemic Flu Exercises at CDC Atlanta

  C4i Consultants continues to work with MPRI to provide exercise support for the Centers for Disease Control pandemic influenza preparedness training at the Federal and Regional level.  This exercise will take place in the second week of September at Emory Campus in Atlanta and will feature C4i's EDMSIM product used as the Master Events Controller and Influenza Pandemic Simulator.  This exercise represents the fourth in a series of training events that have taken place between 2007 and 2008, all involving the use of EDMSIM as the main exercise driver.
• MILSIM Used for Training at Canadian Intelligence School

  MILSIM is being used by the Canadian Forces School of Military Intelligence to train Intelligence NCOs for future operations.  MILSIM’s ease of use and high fidelity is offering the Intelligence School a new level of training capability, flexibility and depth.

2007

• MILCOMM to be Implemented within the Canadian Army

  C4i Consultants’ MILCOMM Communications Planning software has been selected by the Canadian Army for integration into the Army’s communications backbone and battle command systems which are currently under development.  Over the next few years, C4i Consultants will work with the Canadian Army to enhance MILCOMM and tailor the planning and monitoring tool for future force requirements.
• C4i Consultants Awarded Contract by US Army - Ft Leavenworth

  C4i Consultants was today awarded a contract by the US Army’s Command and General Staff College at Ft Leavenworth to develop additional functionality for the MILSIM software.  The intent of this development is to improve MILSIM’s suitability for training in the classroom environment and enhance MILSIM’s interface to the Army’s C2 systems.
• Contract Award for Additional EDMSIM Pandemic Flu Exercises At CDC Atlanta

  C4i Consultants was today awarded a second contract to provide exercise support for the Centers for Disease Control pandemic influenza preparedness training.  The exercise will take place in the third week of August at Emory Campus in Atlanta and will feature C4i's Emergency and Disaster Management Simulation (EDMSIM) product used as the Master Events Controller and Influenza Pandemic Simulator. Bruce Gilkes, president of C4i Consultants Inc described the win as "proof positive that simulation has an important part to play in emergency preparedness, whether it is within a federal exercise or for emergency preparedness within individual industries and companies."  C4i Consultants is working with MPRI
  (http://www.mpri.com/) for the technical support and software for the exercise.
• MILSIM Upgrade to Ft Leavenworth Completed

  C4i Consultants completed delivery of its new version of MILSIM allowing full interface between US Army Battle Command Systems and the simulation software. This training capability allows the ABCS to be stimulated by MILSIM
• EDMSIM Pandemic Flu Exercise Conducted At CDC Atlanta

• MILSIM Version 3.0 Released

  C4i Consultants released MILSIM Version 3.0 today. This version of MILSIM has a number of major product enhancements including support for .NET 2.0 and dramatic performance increases allowing up Division-sized units to be played on a single computer.

• MILSIM Chosen as Tactical Training System

  A major Middle Eastern Army will begin training their company commanders using MILSIM. The system is being installed at one of their Combat Arms schools and it represents a major increase in their training capability.
• MILSIM Completes a Successful Evaluation with the Canadian Army

  MILSIM completed a successful evaluation by the Canadian Army's Directorate Land Synthetic Environment (DLSE) in Kingston, Ontario. MILSIM had been undergoing suitability evaluations for use in the Canadian Army since August 2006. The evaluators gave MILSIM a very favorable review for both its ease of use and flexibility of employment.
• New MILSIM Portable Training System

  C4i Consultants released a new portable training system. This allows a simulation center to go "on the road" with a series of laptops in hardened cases to visit units and organizations in remote locations. This system is also highly suitable for simulation training while the force is deployed or for training foreign armies without the risky deployment of civilian support and training personnel.
• C4i Consultants Wins Contract to Integrate MILSIM with US Army's C4ISR Systems

  C4i Consultants Inc. was awarded a contract by the US Army today to integrate MILSIM with the US Army's Battle Command Systems (ABCS). The project will see MILSIM being used as a stimulation device for training on the ABCS.
• C4i Consultants Delivers MILSIM Upgrades to a Major Middle Eastern Army

  A major Middle Eastern Army today awarded C4i Consultants a contract to upgrade MILSIM software already installed at a simulation center. "The software will significantly enhance our training capabilities" quoted one officer. The work is to be completed over the next two months.
• EDMSIM's CBRN module successfully delivered to the Arizona Division of Emergency Management

  C4i Consultants successfully completed the delivery of the Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) module for EDMSIM to the Arizona Division of Emergency Management (ADEM) today. ADEM intends to use this module as part of their EDMSIM training program for EOCs on biological and agro-terror threats.
• EDMSIM Version 2.0 Released

  C4i Consultants today released EDMSIM version 2.0. This version contains major enhancements to the underlying mapping system which allows users to add their own maps and satellite images, raster and vector overlays simply and effectively.
• MILSIM delivered to the US Army Logistics Management College at Ft Lee, VA

  MILSIM was successfully delivered to the US Army's Logistics Management College (ALMC) today in Ft Lee, VA. The ALMC intends to use MILSIM to teach students how to conduct proper ORSA evaluations. MILSIM replaced JANUS as the simulation of choice at the ALMC because it greatly reduced operating costs and could be used directly by the students.
• MILSIM Automated Artillery Module delivered to the US Army CGSC Ft Leavenworth

  The automated artillery module was delivered to US Army's Command and General Staff College (CGSC) at Ft Leavenworth, KS today. This adds additional capability to the MILSIM software currently in use at the college and the National Simulation Center.

• Initial MILSIM delivery completed to US Army's CGSC

  MILSIM was successfully delivered to the US Army's Command and General Staff College (CGSC) in Ft Leavenworth, KS. The CGSC intends to use MILSIM as part of its Digital Leader's Training course. MILSIM replaces JCATS which had previously been used to conduct this training.
• MILSIM Upgrade Complete

  C4i Consultants successfully delivered an upgrade of MILSIM simulation software from Version 1 to Version 2. The installation tool place at the Combat Arms Training Center for a major world army.
• MILSIM Version 2.0 Released

  C4i Consultants released MILSIM version 2.0 today. This release contains many new features and functionality enhancements which significantly improve the ability of MILSIM to be used for Joint and Combined training.
