Why use a simulation to train Command and Control Systems?
- New electronic Command and Control (C2) systems are being delivered to military forces and emergency responders every day.
- There is no extra time for training on these complex systems
How do you ensure the operators are ready to use C2 Systems?
- By adding a simulation system to your C2 training, you provide operators with the quantity and type of information that they will experience during real operations.
- Both MILSIM and EDMSIM offer a variety of connections to existing C2 systems, like the US Army Battle Command Systems, the US Marine Corps C2PC system as well as homeland security systems.
- What about when a new system is built? We have already thought of that.
- Both MILSIM and EDMSIM were designed from the very beginning to interface with other systems.

MILTRAINER is an add-on component to the MILSIM constructive simulation. MILTRAINER is utilized when MILSIM has been integrated with a C4ISR system for the purposes of conducting training with MILSIM stimulating the C4ISR system.
Features & Benefits
- Independent Student Learning
Students can independently work through individual study packages and perform assigned lessons. Students receive feedback on performance while training is being executed. Results are recorded and viewable by instructors. - Easy Training Scenario Creation
Instructors can create their own courseware and set training standards and goals. New training scenarios are easily created and stored. Scenarios can be created that relate to individual unit needs or operational environments. - Automatic Progress Tracking
Student rosters can be created. Student progress and performance is tracked within the system against selected standards. Progress can be viewed using a number of preset reports. - Preconfigured System Settings
Both the simulation and C4ISR systems can be preconfigured so that the correct settings are automatically inputted to setup the systems when the training scenario is launched. There is no requirement to adjust the settings for the system if these settings have already been entered into MILTRAINER. - Full Instructor Control of System
When needed, the instructor is in full control of the simulation and C4ISR system. - Distance Learning Tool
Scenarios can be created and sent out to students. Results can be emailed back to instructor. - Concept Demonstration Tool
New concepts can be demonstrated or students can be given a "big picture" perspective of the situation.
