05 Apr 2013
TECTERRA recently awarded C4i Consultants conference support funding to attend and exhibit at the Enform Petroleum Safety Conference (May 6-10- Banff Center). This conference support was approved through TECTERRA’s Tradeshow Attendance Program or TAP. Exhibiting at this event gives C4i access to 600 potential customers in the oil/gas/pipeline markets for immediate interest and future sales. Additionally, this event will open the door for establishing re-seller opportunities for ePlan-GIS for Western Canada and USA. TECTERRA is a not-for profit organization founded to channel federal and provincial funding for the promotion of GIS technology in Alberta. C4i Consultants' ePlan-GIS software is a GIS-based tool designed to allow oil and gas companies the ability to create and validate emergency response plans and to train their personnel to react effectively during emergency situations. ePlan-GIS is a constructive simulation “Emergency Response Planning (ERP) and validation tool” for the Oil/Gas and Pipeline markets. Constructive simulation is the digital management of ERP exercise resources, both human and equipment, and displays these resources on a digital map using ESRI’s ArcGIS Runtime technology. ePlan-GIS reduces the cost of travel and the excessive time commitment presently required in doing existing paper based ERP exercises at a company’s head office. ePlan-GIS establishes communication and coordination procedures for mobilizing emergency response personnel and external agencies.

- MILSIM Updates
21 Dec 2012
C4i Consultants is pleased to announce that we have added new functionality and features to MILSIM. As a result of emerging customers requirements, we have implemented the following new capabilities:
- Blue Force Tracking: MILSIM now has a native BFT capability to allow commanders at all levels to have a real-time Situational Awareness picture, based upon own position reports and recorded enemy sighting and contact reports. MILSIM BFT is fully configurable and can be applied at any level from Pl up to Joint Task Force.
- LUA AI Scripting Capability: MILSIM AI can implement any doctrine or SOPs through the new LUA scripting module. For complex scenarios, scripts for all entities and organizations can be created and saved in the LUA library for use at any stage during runtime, or can be created on the fly. This capability enhances the utility of MILSIM in both Low Intensity and high Intensity Operations, enabling the operators the ability to task Units based upon the Operational Plan. It also allows Military organizations the ability to test new doctrinal approaches and concepts and validate them.
- Enhanced Simulation Interoperability: C4i Consultants has improved our native Sim API HLA functionality. MILSIM is now more able to connect into a multi-system network and deliver training, planning and mission rehearsal capability.
These capabilities will shortly be available for purchase and some capabilities will be built into the main MILSIM Code baseline.
