• C4I Academy

  A major Middle Eastern country today awarded C4i Consultants a contract to design and construct a C4I Academy. The Academy is a multi-year project that will be used to train junior officers to perform system engineering and procurement activities and represents a major increase in strategic capacity. C4i Consultants is subcontracting several companies and educational institutions to perform the work, including George Mason University.
• Ruggedized Computer

  C4i Consultants released our first purpose-built ruggedized computer system for austere environments. The Constructive Simulation Computer System ( CSCS) is a high performance desktop computer packaged in a rugged aluminum case. The computer contains no moving parts and is sealed against dust intrusion. A complex heat management system directs heat away from the computer components and an extremely small form-factor finned case provides protection and additional heat dissipation. The CSCS computer is delivered standard with an intel i7 processor, 4GB of RAM and a 500GB solid state hard drive."
• C4i delivers another Middle East Simulation Centre

  Today C4i Consultants completed another MILSIM Simulation Centre delivery to a major Middle Eastern country. This delivery marks the 12th MILSIM Simulation Centre delivery to the region and firmly places C4i Consultant's MILSIM simulation software as the pre-eminent Arabic language simulation software. Bruce Gilkes, president and CTO of C4i Consultants noted, "MILSIM has the lowest overall cost of ownership of any constructive simulation software and our customers are rewarding us by reinvesting some of their savings in to new MILSIM purchases."

• Expansion of Iraq

  C4i Consultants today completed a software delivery to Iraq, effectively increasing the Iraqi Counter Insurgency School's simulation capability by 40 percent. "The additional capacity will allow for more frequent training and better access for the students at the school", said Bruce Gilkes, President and CTO of C4i Consultants. The Iraqi COIN school trains senior officers to manage operations within complex security environments while reducing civilian casualties.

  Tecterra today awarded C4i Consultants a repayable grant under the P2P program to fund the construction and commercialization of the next generation of C4i Consultants' ePlan-GIS software. Tecterra is a not-for profit organization founded to channel federal and provincial funding for the promotion of GIS technology in Alberta. C4i Consultants' ePlan-GIS software is a GIS-based tool designed to allow oil and gas companies to create and validate emergency response plans and to train their personnel to react effectively during emergency situations.   C4i Consultants will be exhibiting our MILSIM and EDMSIM products at the Canadian Defence and Security (CADSI) CANSEC show this Wednesday and Thursday. C4i Consultants’ boot is number 2412 in the EADS pavilion. C4i will be demonstrating MILSIM interconnected with Bohemia Interactive’s VBS2 virtual training product. We will also be presenting EDMSIM as a Domestic Operations training tool for military and government customers.

  For the third year in a row, C4i Consultants was nominated by Canadian Defence Review magazine (www.canadiandefencereview.com) as one of Canada’s Top 50 Defence Companies. This year, C4i climbed eleven spots to number 29. “We experienced tremendous success in our international markets over the last year, and this is what fuelled our growth,” quoted Bruce Gilkes, President of C4i. “We found that the Middle Eastern Market was especially strong, with continued high demand for our products and services.” C4i Consultants is a Calgary-based company and has previously appeared on the list in 2009 and 2010.
• (Calgary, AB)- C4i Contracted to Deliver Middle East Simulation Centre

  C4i is delivering an Arabic language simulation centre to a major Middle Eastern country this summer. The simulation centre will allow Corps and below training at a training school and will be based on C4i Consultant’s MILSIM product. MILSIM is a constructive simulation tool that is easy to use and cost effective, allowing simulation centre staff to design scenarios and operate the system on their own, without contractor support. “We are proud of our partnership with the Middle Eastern countries,” stated Bruce Gilkes, President of C4i, “We are providing tools that allow them to have high quality training without the dependence on Western assistance that typically goes with the delivery of high tech tools to the region.” MILSIM will be delivered with a voice over IP simulated radio (RADSIM) that captures all voice communications during an exercise, as well as the integrated Master Scenario Events List (MSEL) tool that allows information-based events to be delivered to exercise participants via email.
• (Baghdad, Iraq) - Iraqi Army Officers Build Digital Exercises, Operations

  Iraqi Army officers are studying how to create interactive, digital worlds within software that United States Forces-Iraq instructors and advisors refer to as "the game."
  
  The Joint Training Center at Camp Taji uses C4i Consultants' Military Simulation for its 30-day Military Simulation Operator's Course, which prepares students to work as observer controllers for future MILSIM training exercises.
  
  "[The course] gives these Iraqi Army officers a basic understanding of how to run a MILSIM course," said Sgt. 1st Class Virgil Moore, senior enlisted advisor and noncommissioned officer-in-charge of the Joint Training Center with the Iraq Training and Advisory Mission-Army. Read More

  Bruce Gilkes, President, C4i Consultants announced the release of two new constructive simulation software products for the Public Safety and Energy/ERP markets. Mr. Gilkes commented, “Imagine a set of tools that allows you to plan, design, test, prepare, practice and train for nearly any type of emergency, any contingency, in any sort of environmental condition”. ePlan-GIS is a GIS tool for the Energy/ERP markets that can significantly reduce the amount of time, cost and effort required to assemble and execute a table top ERP exercise. Corporate and Regional ERP’s along with municipal emergency management plans (MEMP’s) can all be integrated within ePlan-GIS. eMerg-GIS is designed for the Public Safety market andcreates an effective computerized simulation of an emergency situation and establishes communication and coordination among all parties affected. This simulation tool establishes procedures for mobilizing response personnel and agencies by coordinating the activities of industry responders, emergency services, local authorities, Provincial Health Services, government departments and all agencies that have a key role in providing an effective response.
