2008

• EDMSIM used by MPRI Inc. at Centers for Disease Control & Prevention

  EDMSIM was employed to conduct another training exercise at the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention.  C4i Consultants continues to work with MPRI to provide exercise support for the CDC pandemic influenza preparedness training.  This exercise represents the first use of the web-based version of EDMSIM and represents a significant leap forward in Emergency Operations Center training. As this is the fourth in a series of CDC training events that have taken place between 2007 and 2008, C4i Consultants is extremely excited that MPRI and the CDC continue to rely on EDMSIM as their primary simulation tool.
• EDMSIM used by ARNORTH in a US Federal Level Exercise

  EDMSIM was successfully employed by Army Region North (ARNORTH) to act as the exercise driver for a Federal Level exercise taking place at Ft Stewart GA.  C4i Consultants is pleased that EDMSIM was selected for such a high-level event and it illustrates the simulation’s ability to conduct training at the Local, State and Federal levels.
• C4i Consultants Completes MILSIM AI and Behavior Scripting Model for Ft Leavenworth

  C4i Consultants completed development of the MILSIM performance and Semi-Autonomous Forces features requested by the US Army’s Command and General Staff College at Ft Leavenworth.  The successful implementation of these features will greatly improve the Command and General Staff College ability to deliver training in the classroom and enhance MILSIM’s interface to the Army’s C2 systems.
• C4i Consultants to Conduct Fourth EDMSIM Pandemic Flu Exercises at CDC Atlanta

  C4i Consultants continues to work with MPRI to provide exercise support for the Centers for Disease Control pandemic influenza preparedness training at the Federal and Regional level.  This exercise will take place in the second week of September at Emory Campus in Atlanta and will feature C4i's EDMSIM product used as the Master Events Controller and Influenza Pandemic Simulator.  This exercise represents the fourth in a series of training events that have taken place between 2007 and 2008, all involving the use of EDMSIM as the main exercise driver.
• MILSIM Used for Training at Canadian Intelligence School

  MILSIM is being used by the Canadian Forces School of Military Intelligence to train Intelligence NCOs for future operations.  MILSIM’s ease of use and high fidelity is offering the Intelligence School a new level of training capability, flexibility and depth.

2007

• MILCOMM to be Implemented within the Canadian Army

  C4i Consultants’ MILCOMM Communications Planning software has been selected by the Canadian Army for integration into the Army’s communications backbone and battle command systems which are currently under development.  Over the next few years, C4i Consultants will work with the Canadian Army to enhance MILCOMM and tailor the planning and monitoring tool for future force requirements.
• C4i Consultants Awarded Contract by US Army - Ft Leavenworth

  C4i Consultants was today awarded a contract by the US Army’s Command and General Staff College at Ft Leavenworth to develop additional functionality for the MILSIM software.  The intent of this development is to improve MILSIM’s suitability for training in the classroom environment and enhance MILSIM’s interface to the Army’s C2 systems.
• Contract Award for Additional EDMSIM Pandemic Flu Exercises At CDC Atlanta

  C4i Consultants was today awarded a second contract to provide exercise support for the Centers for Disease Control pandemic influenza preparedness training.  The exercise will take place in the third week of August at Emory Campus in Atlanta and will feature C4i's Emergency and Disaster Management Simulation (EDMSIM) product used as the Master Events Controller and Influenza Pandemic Simulator. Bruce Gilkes, president of C4i Consultants Inc described the win as "proof positive that simulation has an important part to play in emergency preparedness, whether it is within a federal exercise or for emergency preparedness within individual industries and companies."  C4i Consultants is working with MPRI
  (www.mpri.com) for the technical support and software for the exercise.
• MILSIM Upgrade to Ft Leavenworth Completed

  C4i Consultants completed delivery of its new version of MILSIM allowing full interface between US Army Battle Command Systems and the simulation software. This training capability allows the ABCS to be stimulated by MILSIM
• EDMSIM Pandemic Flu Exercise Conducted At CDC Atlanta

  C4i Consultants provided a technology demonstration at Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta. The exercise duplicated tabletop training flu pandemic exercise in order to demonstrate the training advantages of EDMSIM
• MILSIM Version 3.0 Released

  C4i Consultants released MILSIM Version 3.0 today. This version of MILSIM has a number of major product enhancements including support for .NET 2.0 and dramatic performance increases allowing up Division-sized units to be played on a single computer

2006

• MILSIM Chosen as Tactical Training System

  A major Middle Eastern Army will begin training their company commanders using MILSIM. The system is being installed at one of their Combat Arms schools and it represents a major increase in their training capability.
• MILSIM Completes a Successful Evaluation with the Canadian Army

  MILSIM completed a successful evaluation by the Canadian Army's Directorate Land Synthetic Environment (DLSE) in Kingston, Ontario. MILSIM had been undergoing suitability evaluations for use in the Canadian Army since August 2006. The evaluators gave MILSIM a very favorable review for both its ease of use and flexibility of employment.
• C4i Consultants Wins Contract to Integrate MILSIM with US Army's C4ISR Systems

  C4i Consultants Inc. was awarded a contract by the US Army today to integrate MILSIM with the US Army's Battle Command Systems (ABCS). The project will see MILSIM being used as a stimulation device for training on the ABCS.
• EDMSIM's CBRN module successfully delivered to the Arizona Division of Emergency Management

  C4i Consultants successfully completed the delivery of the Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) module for EDMSIM to the Arizona Division of Emergency Management (ADEM) today. ADEM intends to use this module as part of their EDMSIM training program for EOCs on biological and agro-terror threats.
• MILSIM delivered to the US Army Logistics Management College at Ft Lee, VA

  MILSIM was successfully delivered to the US Army's Logistics Management College (ALMC) today in Ft Lee, VA. The ALMC intends to use MILSIM to teach students how to conduct proper ORSA evaluations. MILSIM replaced JANUS as the simulation of choice at the ALMC because it greatly reduced operating costs and could be used directly by the students.
• MILSIM Automated Artillery Module delivered to the US Army CGSC Ft Leavenworth

  The automated artillery module was delivered to US Army's Command and General Staff College (CGSC) at Ft Leavenworth, KS today. This adds additional capability to the MILSIM software currently in use at the college and the National Simulation Center.

2005

• Initial MILSIM delivery completed to US Army's CGSC

  MILSIM was successfully delivered to the US Army's Command and General Staff College (CGSC) in Ft Leavenworth, KS. The CGSC intends to use MILSIM as part of its Digital Leader's Training course. MILSIM replaces JCATS which had previously been used to conduct this training.
• MILSIM Upgrade Complete

  C4i Consultants successfully delivered an upgrade of MILSIM simulation software from Version 1 to Version 2. The installation tool place at the Combat Arms Training Center for a major world army.
• MILSIM Version 2.0 Released

  C4i Consultants released MILSIM version 2.0 today. This release contains many new features and functionality enhancements which significantly improve the ability of MILSIM to be used for Joint and Combined training.
